You know, the thing that I don't understand about stem cell therapy, is how are the stem cells directed to create the correct organs or whatever they are supposed to do? I think the idea of stem cell therapy has a great deal of promise, but at present it seems like hocus-pocus to me. I'd like to know more about the nuts and bolts of how it works. Also, it does smack a little bit of playing God/dess...and we know how much trouble we get into as a species when we do things like that. I guess I am a stem cell agnostic: hopeful, but doubtful.
